Published in 1812, this panoramic wallpaper depicting Parisian monuments was produced by Manufacture Dufour. The original design was printed using 2062 woodblocks, reproducing 80 different colors. This reissued model belongs to the town of Lamballe (Côtes d'Armor) and is currently displayed in the town hall's lobby, near the wedding hall. It was one of the most popular French panoramic wallpapers in the United States in the early 19th century.
To restore its vibrancy and modernity, the "Le Grand siècle" workshops undertook a digital restoration that lasted nearly 40 hours. This wallpaper features representations, from left to right, of: Hôtel de Ville - Val de Grâce - Louvre Colonnade - Châtelet Fountain - Saint-Sulpice Church - Palais Bourbon - Les Invalides - Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Palais de la Légion d'Honneur - Luxembourg Palace - Tuileries Garden - Lycée Louis-le-Grand - Sainte-Chapelle - Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel - Palais de l'Institut - Notre Dame

Manufactured in 1861 by Desfossé, this panoramic wallpaper is a masterpiece of technical achievement: the original design features 1099 colors and required the use of 3642 engraved wooden blocks. An absolute record, especially considering that a traditional wallpaper today rarely exceeds 8 colors! A symbol of the era's taste for exoticism and distant lands, it is believed to have been presented at the 1862 London Universal Exhibition. To breathe new life and modernity into this magnificent panoramic wallpaper, the "Le Grand Siècle" workshops undertook a digital restoration lasting approximately 50 hours.
